I'm stuck on that damn picture in Water #3
post #52 of 137
Does it have to do with those stupid most wanted terrorist cards?
I'm not there yet, but I figured out the "poker" one. Nice work, Graham. Now, if only I can get through this damn picture.

That sucked. Grrrrrrr.
You poker buffs...still tearing your hair out?

Seeing as I've GIVEN you the answer?

Also, can we see if the codes DO change from log-in to log-in.

My current ones are :
Crystal 137
Leaf 594
Sand 662
Water 283
Metal 895

Do these differ from yours?
My metal was 896. Other than that they are the same here.
What is it? My mind is caught into a rut. Be nice, it is finals week after all and my brain is turing to jelly from all the studying.

Just kicked subtlety out the window.

Saddam! The ACE OF SPADES!!!!!!!!!

Oh yes.
Thanks, greatly appreciated. I'm now in the second level of the fire zone. Anagrams have always taken me awhile to figure out but I've never gotten stuck on one so don't give me the answer.
Okay, the "amUous" has my ass kicked. I thought it was "unanimous," but no go.
It's best if muttered to yourself...say what you see,,,"am.large'u'.ous"...or something like that...
Oh. DUH.
OK, time to get your own back...can't get the first goddam fire path question...gone from decent, to descent , to depends (don't ask me why) to countless known little phrases that I've probably made-up...Go on...Tell me to say what I see...I DOUBLE-DOG DARE YA!!

'Sanity Clause? Sanity Clause?...Everyone knows there ain't no Sanity Clause!'
(whimper)...what the fuck is it?? sob...

ARSE!!
Gottit!!
Damn, rushed back here, having just gotten it myself, to help you out.
Any idea on the anagram?

Reckon they'ye going REALLY obscure here.

Stuck on the palindromic number list, not sure what they're looking for. I mean, I know what a palindrome is, but the obvious number doesn't work.

EDIT -- Nevermind, got it, although it's not strictly what they're asking for....

And now this rebus is killing me.
The shortest of its brothers,
Twelve of them in all.
Once in every four,
It grows an inch more tall.
A large heart in the middle.

tHIS REBUS IS REALLY ANNOYING!

So is caps lock!
The one with the two "B's"?
Okay, I figured out the infamous cards rebus on the commute home last night. I swear. But even then I was getting frustrated, and almost lost the answer, because I kept spelling it "high..." in my head. Duh. Yeah, that one bit.

Now I'm stuck on that SOMEDAY animalgram. And I'm usually pretty good at those. But, I give myself til the end of the day before wigging out... One hint, though -- it is an animal, right, and not some tricky wordplay I'm goofing up on? Should I be trying proper names of famous animals..?
I had to look it up because I hadn't even heard of the damn thing. I think it's a type of dog.
lov? Huh? This rebus is killing me.
Nevermind. I originally missed the posts above.

Yup...gone throgh 'be pre-paired'/'be prepared', Shakespeare, ...the usual suspects....bugger!
Trouble is my mind seems geared to a complicated response, and the answer is probably simple.

Determined to finish this bastard tonight, though!

The palindrome flummoxed me for a while, til I realised it was another version of a lateral thinking question I'd seen over 9 months ago...you can get it by 'trial-and-error' but understanding WHY is much more satisfying!
Easy for you to say, I'm still stuck on the bolded D with the penny.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Wanna clue? (took me a while)

SPOILER

OK, half clue...'in 'D'

Are you sure you tried Shakespeare? (To be or not to be)

This one is stumping me now:
IBIS - IBEX - ORYX - SIKA - ZEBU
Find the word that doesn't fit, then enter a one-word characteristic of that
word which differentiates it from the other words listed.
You know what's funny? I solved the D/penny one a couple of hours ago. I was going to post a hint, but I completely forgot what the answer was.
Answer is above somewhere...

Yup, tried Hamlet, but might of typed it in wrong...trying again.
It's not Hamlet.

kitty, I remember the D/penny one now. Forget about "penny", use another word.
Yeah, makes sense...(groan)
That chain letter hint is driving me nuts! I keep gravitating back towards "B2B" type answers.
No good, cracking open a physical dictionary.

Ain't 'befuddled'...this could take some time...
...or 'beset.'..thought that one pretty good...
I tried both "befriend" and "caps_lock". Nothing.

Well, someone's going to have to just feed it to me, then. It's not even coming up with cheatariffic anagram websites. I'm just slapping in random combinations, at this point. I surrender.
Currently killing me:

6 - 9 - 2 - 4 - 1 - 8 - 11
Type in the smallest possible number, that, when added to the end of the list makes the list a palindrome. Use digit(s) instead of words, then hit the button.

Bless, you. Never heard of that dog, either. Almost had it by accident, looking at my scratch paper.

Guess I don't deserve a "special round of applause" going by the next riddle's note. Bah!
