So he wasn't lying after all. A lot of people thought his rumoured Directors Cut was a bullshit excuse, but I'm interested to see what's different and if it's as gruesome as he claims.

Don't hold your breath for a directors cut. As he says in the interview they are having a hard time finding alot of the stuff they took out if indeed they did take alot of stuff out. I love the movie though so I hope they get it together.

While a flawed movie, I still very much enjoy Event Horizon............and it is Paul Anderson's best. I once read that the film had more than 20 minutes cut out of it. Whether that is true or not, I'm not sure, but it does make one wonder what was missing. My understanding was that most of it was a combination of more dialogue, more crew reactions to the ship, and of course more outlandish gore. From the sound of it, we will see the footage one way or another. I would like for them to insert it back into the film, but I'll take it anyway I can get it.

I found someyhing cool, an Event Horizon comic book. But i can't be sure. The info is posted in the Horror comics sticky thread at the top.

Does anybody know anything?

I don´t think that comic has anything to do with the film, they just share the same name.
