HHPS05 picking up steam

Monday March 09, 2005 - Rick Danford of ENIGMA FILMS, Andy Lalino of METROPOL PRODUCTIONS and Greg Rivera of RELIC FILMS have banned together to bring you the HALLOWEEN HORROR PICTURE SHOW 2005. The third in the ever expanding Central Florida Halloween Horror Film Festival is now Officially being announced. The event will take place Saturday October 15th, 2005. The venue is being finalized and will soon be announced via the Official Web Site located at:

HHPS05 is ready to take the next step to help separate itself from other Festivals around the country. We intend to create an event that will make every Horror fan happy and this is only the beginning.
The evening will begin with a Special non-competition Feature Film and close with one as well. Between them will be a Film Festival that will have some of the very best Short Horror Films from around the world on display. Awards will be given for various categories and a Special HHPS05 Trophy and prize pack will be awarded to the winner of the Festival. Submission details are now available via the Web Site, so the call to all Short Horror Filmmakers is going out now. You want to be a part of this event, so get you films in to us now! The opening act for the Fest is set to be the long awaited premiere of 'The Web of Darkness'. This Cyber Vampire Feature Film that stars Tom Savini and Brinke Stevens has been in post production for some time now and will make its debut at HHPS05. We are planning a Cast and Crew Reunion for the Fest and the Festivities will be recorded for inclusion on the upcoming DVD Release. So here's you chance to get on the DVD. All you have to do is come out and join in on the fun. We are working on a very Special Feature Film for the closing act of the evening and it will be announced soon via the Web Site as well.
Dealer tables will be set up that will allow you to purchase some of the very best Independent Horror Films from the Filmmakers themselves that you may not be able to get anywhere else.
Special Guests will be on hand to sign autographs and take pictures and the list will be updated on the Web Site as they are finalized. With this Official Kick Off Press Release we are proud to announce the first and second of hopefully many Special Guests we plan on having in attendance. Legendary Scream Queens Linne'a Quigley of 'Return of the Living Dead' and Brinke Stevens of 'Mommy' and 'Witch House 3' fame will be in attendance. We are very excited to have an icon of Horror on hand for this event and there are more to follow.
