How are we all in the New Year?

I'm doing well. In a wonderful relationship. Having a nice visit with family in from out of town (they go home tomorrow). Landing zingers when and where they count, and about finalized on a large financial improvement in cash-flow.

I'm good. Christmas was hardly there, New Year's was great, and I go into the year much more confident in my filmmaking abilities.

It's very, very cold here still.

Doing better today, but still reeling in shock. It seems every day gets a bit better, and I hope that will continue to be the case.

Hoping that the beginning to this year is far, far better than the ending of last year.

Fine. Had a great christmas and a fairly mundane New Years i.e. spent it with the parents and we went out for dinner. Plan to spend this year furthering my goal of being a filmmaker. I'd quit my day job if I could.

I'm doing the same thing, and I actually DID quit my day job (though I really couldn't afford to). I'm back in school right now taking a major in film studies, scraping by on my financial aid, looking forward to attending grad school in two or three years (keeping my fingers crossed for Columbia College in Chicago), living with my beautiful girlfriend, I'm acting in a student produced film, I'll be shooting my own film in a couple of months (one that I have co-written and will be co-directing with my best friend), I just finished writing my first play, I'm about halfway finished with my first novel...all in all, 2005 is quite nice so far. Thanks for asking.
