My god there are some idiots out there!! I have just read complaints that ROTLD 4 has zombies which "cant be terminated with a shot to the head, and so is therefore ignoring the previous films" !!!!! in the films I remember watching the zombies plainly could not be terminated with brain damage and incinerating wasnt the best of ideas either..... Did any of these complainants actually ever watch the originals or are they so completely stupified as to think this is some sort of Dawn sequal......

Yeah, they obviously forgot about the little Nuclear Holocaust at the end of the first and WHY it happened.

Ignoring the originals? See the originals and then comment!

I can understand the complaint that a shot to the head can't take them out, but not for that reason. Yeah, in all of the Return movies the zombies couldn't be killed by anything short of total immolation. However, I never liked this aspect, that the zombies couldn't be killed. This removes all the dramatic tension. In Romero's movies (and Shaun to some degree), the tension comes from the fact that a group of people could have survived if they worked together, but some inherant flaw in humanity makes this impossible. I think it's the fact that they could have made it that makes it terrible when they die. In the Return films, it never impacts me when a character dies because I think "Oh well, they were dead from the beginning". Anyone agree or disagree?

Electrocution seemed to work very well (in return 2 anyways) you would think the Army would have built some electric based weaponry instead of them silly stun things in Return 3!!
