B-WARE 2005 - Want a taste of what's to come?

As most of you know, I used to write for Creature Corner and now for Dread Central. As some of you know I have a zen for bad movies, especially of the direct-to-video/Sci-Fi Channel variety. This is why I put together one of the (if not the) largest reference guide to the b-movies (mostly horror and sci-fi) coming our way in 2005.

What started out as an article about a few of the b-movies coming to video store shelves and the Sci-Fi Channel next year somehow turned into a massive reference guide complete with lots of images, trailer links, and sarcastic quips by your truly. The information contained in this article should be highly informative, highly entertaining, and downright terrifying!

So b-movie fans, I give youl a taste of things to come. Unfortunately, I suspect there are more bad tastes than good ones here. Hey, a few of these actually seem to have the potential to be good, or at least so bad they are good. Oh well, like the tagline goes, B-informed and B-Warned.

By the way, the link to Page Two at the bottom of the first page is having issues for some reason so for now you'll have to scroll back up and use the Page Two chapter index at the top.

Enjoy!

The Foywonder presents... B-WARE 2005: B-Informed, B-Warned

That's cool. If you want me to come up with some b movie art for your site, let me know. I'd love to help out.

Foy, your website is a source of joy.

Thanks to you I can now be sure that my dear Andrew Divoff is still alive and working.

Oh, I've seen Atomik Circus and I confirm that it's not good. On the plus side though, Benoit Poelvoorde (Man bites dog) stars in it and he's great as usual.

Steve Foy, may I tell you something. You're one of the wittiest, coolest and funniest english writers I've experienced in my internet life. I'd star in three Scarecrow flicks to have the honor to find some similar german scribe for my site.

The flicks are great, and it gives every film freak a new definition of what's really crap. If one says Wrong Turn is crap or cheesy, they should have looked at EVIL DEEP or sth like that. And as a filmmaker, they give me hope that one day someone will finance my flicks, although they don't deal with giant mutated mosquito men, flesh eating ants or cgi sharks that make those in the shark attacks movie look great.

I'll let Steve know when I meet him. My name is Scott.

Oh, than it's meant like Scott, tremendous emperor of vaporizing elite movies.

Great stuff Foywonder. I used to really watch all these b-roll films. I still catch them on Sci-Fi channel from time to time. After watching the great Frankenfish I think I may be lured back into the fold.

LARVA

NOTE: Premieres on the Sci-Fi Channel Saturday, January 22nd at 9 PM EST with a replay to follow four hours later and an encore showing on Thursday, January 20th at 9 PM EST.
So the only time to see it after the premiere is two days before?

Also, I at first thought one of the titles was "Racing Sharks". Now I'm kind of disappointed, but I think I may have a new pitch Nu Image might be interested in....

Sci-Fi Channel has started using the Stargate on their programming.

Stupid typos!

Will you cast Lorenzo Lamas and C. Thomas Howell as the voices of the rapping lampreys?

Frankenfish was suprisingly entertaining, and I saw larva and that was a very different creature movie. I thought the creature design was neat and how they did the special effects. I missed on Sci Fi channel the movie SnakeHead Terror (another frankenfish movie) but wanted to see how that one was.
