Right I went to see Elektra this afternoon, apparently Eid didn’t like that and cosmically bitch slapped me. When me and my friend arrive at the cinema we find the place is crowded and almost everybody is wanting to see Elektra. As we are buying our tickets a dozen or so of the hundreds of assembled young Muslim men start a fight. These people are expelled from the cinema which creates even more tension. Then everybody is forced to wait to go into the cinema, the ushers finally letting in me, my friend and four other people, oddly all Caucasian before letting the rest of the people in.
Basically following this everybody in the cinema would just not shut up, they were making phone calls, shouting across the cinema to each other and booting the back of my chair.
Two wonderful excerpts being a young guy pointing at me and garbling something in Pakistan, the key word Samo Hung prompting fits of laughter. That ain’t too bad Samo Hung kicks ass.
The second was a guy on the back row shouting “Jihad! Kill all Jews!” seemingly out of random.
Basically me and my friend left as the very loud talking, almost all of the cinema, continued. We were refunded and told that the screening was to be shut down due to the trouble. They gave us free tickets to go and see Electra again but said not to come back until after the end of Eid on Wednesday.
Apparently the local cinema is like that every Eid
So the question is when did people lose respect for the cinema?
