Where the hell does Firefox keep the actual bookmark files? Is it in the documents and settings folder on the main drive.
The reason I ask is because when I create a new folder in the browser it doesnt show up there.

I'm re-adding my links because this computer blows and it lost them. Therefor I'm not making much sense because I am extremely pissed off. IBe thankfull my posts are not

Same thing happened to me, only it's not letting me add links anymore. Pissed me off so much I started punching my computer moniter until it was splattered with blood. Think that means I should get out more.

When I downloaded Firefox, it asked me if I wanted to transfer my bookmarks from IE. They're under a "Bookmarks" folder. I don't think I'm following your problem. Good luck though - Firefox is the greatest browser in the universe.

Just transfer that file to the same directory on your laptop and you're good to go.
I'm in my application data folder and there is no mozilla folder at all.
