My favourite still remains their work on DAWN, particularly the European cut.

Nothing like chilling out with 'Zombi (Sexy)'...

Goblin music triggers sensory memories that take me to some of my happiest times.

The music Goblin did for Argeto´s films really rule, especially Tenebre, Suspiria and Profondo Rosso.Their stuff for Buio Omega and Contamination kinda, eh, suck.

Listening to them without the films attached. Really? A brave man.

Prog rock gives me blisters. To me it sounds like someone deliberately, sadistically removing all of the life from music.

I don't want to listen to music for the mathematics of it. but please, tell me why. I might learn something.

with the films attached though, i'll admit they add something to the sadisic disregard to narrative cohesion of Argento's movies. Why, it's almost art.

As the Chili Peppers once said, if you have to ask, you'll never know.

I will never know. You'll forgive me if i count this a blessing.

Andre, go to www.relapse.com and look up info on the band "Zombi". It's all instrumental stuff inspired by Goblin, old Carpenter stuff, and the Dead trilogy. I ordered the CD on impulse one day (Mostly because Relapse tends to sign nothing but great bands) and immediately fell in love with it.

Goblin really should tour with John Carpenter. I'm certain they could sell out Philly.

I love refreshing this website to catch this awesome Goblin-styled riff...
