his crowning achievement as Malick in Conan the Destroyer

Erika baywatchbabe Eliniak(sp) was on ET as the tall girl at the frogs liberation scene.

Simon Gruber's knife-wielding girlfriend Katya in Die Hard: With a Vengeance is played by the same woman (Sam Phillips) who does the music for Gilmore Girls, namely all the cutesy "la la la" parts.

Marvin, the guy who got his head blown off the car in Pulp Fiction, is the voice of Static (from Static Shock), Green Lantern from Justice League Unlimited, and Samurai Jack, from Samurai Jack.
And is in MadTV and Spiderman 2.

Surprised to see Rilo Kiley mentions in CHUD.

Actually, the name of the band was BAD 4 GOOD. Steve Vai was the band's mentor, as he produced and co-wrote much of the debut album. After the album failed to become a hit, the band had a slight change in their line up and renamed themselves Lucy's Milk. They too eventually broke up and following the break up, Brooks Wackerman(their drummer) joined Bad Religion and Suicidal Tendencies.

I was a big fan as a kid. A guilty pleasure if you will.

William Peter Blatty co-wrote A Shot in the Dark with Blake Edwards.

She also is (was?) a christian singer.

John Glover was also Satan in Brimstone, was the Ted Turner spoof in Gremlins 2, the maniacal genius in Virtuosity, the head psych in Into The Mouth of Madness, and does the help files voice on the new Wallace & Grommit game.
The man is a god.

Learned:
Robin Atkin Downes, the man who played the wussy waste of space that was Byron in the final season of B5, is a phenomenal voice actor whith some very masculine parts under his belt, including Sagacious Zu in Jade Empire and some of the characters in KOTOR:
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0235960/

Just...wow. I was convinced that actor couldn't act, from B5, but I guess it was purely the character that sucked, and not the man.

I listened to the Christine commentary and realised that John Stockwell, who plays Keith Gordon's best friend has directed Crazy/Beautiful, Blue Crush and the upcoming Jessica Alba in bikinis flick Into the Blue.

It's "was" at least in terms of musical output and how it's marketed, if not in terms of personal philosophy. She swore off the Christian music scene in the late 80s. Also, her stuff isn't all quite as touchy-feely as the interlude music on Gilmore Girls might suggest. Martinis and Bikinis is a great pop album a la Aimee Mann type with some even pricklier edges.

Apparrently Jim "Jesus" Caviezel was in The Rock.

Also the movie Highwaymen that he was in, which I love, only made 398, something thousand at the box office and only showed in 111 theaters.

And in the Spartan thread, Moltisanti informed me that David Mamet helped right Ronin under a different name, that is cool as the fuck!

Didn't the existence of a movie called Mad Max, also starring Mel Gibson, give you a clue?

I'm not entirely ashamed to admit that Mad Max is the only movie of the three that I remember seeing from beginning to end.
Never saw Mad Max... and had not remembered when watching 2 and 3 that they were numbered thusly.

Nicholas Roeg was a second unit photographer on 'Lawrence of Arabia'

Then why do Eastman and Laird have the rights to it? Not being snarky, just curious to this new fact.

Warner is also Jack the Ripper in Time After Time...With Malcolm Macdowell, who voiced Metallo in the Superman Animated series. How lame is it that I know THAT!

The guy who played Spanish in Old School was in War of the Worlds alongside Tom Cruise as the Tripods emerged. He seemed familiar when he popped up in WotW and made the connection watching Old School earlier.

Orson Welles also did the voice of Unicron in the Transformers movie (the original one from 1986).

Raul Julia's last role before his death was M. Bison in the Streetfighter movie.

Jack Black is in Demolition Man as one of the underground dwellers. I don't think he has any lines, and the only time he's even only partially visible in the scene were Spartan, Huxley and that other guy come across the classic muscle car, and are confronted by Denis Leary.

Chris Roberts, the creator of the Wing Commander games and the director of the awful movie based on those games now has a career as a producer. He has produced The Punisher and The Jacket and he has a bunch of films coming up including Nic Cage's Lord of War.

That the old lady from Dallas - the recently deceased Barbara Bel Geddes - played Jimmy Stewart's friend in Vertigo.

The title Star Trek III: The Search for Spock is an in-joke

Leonard Nimoy hosted a 70s TV show, In Search of …, in which he searched for the Yeti, Bigfoot, Nessie etc., and never found any of them.

I noticed today that Donatello was voiced by Corey Feldman in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

By the way, please tell me I'm not the only one who thinks the original was WAY too disturbing for a kid's movie.
