Devin's review and a pithy line reminds me...
Have you ever had the experience in which someone tells you all about a film in so much detail that you feel like you never need to see the film? I had this crazy friend .... and yeah she was crazy.... she would wake me up at 10 am after I worked midnight to 8 am shifts. She would be so bored she would break into my room....bounce on my bed until I woke up and just talk and talk... She was so utterly charming and odd that you couldn't get angry with her. One of the best film moments that I ever had was the night after she saw The Fly (1986). She sat on my bed and told me in detail the whole movie. The picture she put in my head is one I would never want to replace by actually seeing the film.
