www.urbanethemovie.com is now online!

New horror starring Doug Bradley in a non-latex, non-hellraiser, starring role. This site is really cool - if the movie is as good as this makes it look, then i'm there

A newsletter from the producers said something about a hidden easter egg feature somewhere on the site, but i just can't find it! - anybody?

I don't know if I can be bothered going to your website to find it.

Speaking of Doug Bradley, anyone know when the hell those latest two Hellraiser sequels are ever gonna be released? Of course they will end up being shit anyway, but I'm still curious none the less.

Oh hell yeah - Dimension once again doing a crapper on the fans!

Doug Bradley has stated that Deader is pretty good & Hellworld has something of the tone of the earlier movies in the series (and lance Henriksen too!)

Check out these tidbits:

"I have no idea. We shot the movies between October and Xmas 2002, so they’ve been sitting in the can for nearly two years. I looped the movie with Rick Bota – who directed both films and also directed the sixth movie, Hellseeker – more than a year ago when I also recorded an alternative audio commentary for Deader with him, so the whole film was pretty much cut together then: and looking pretty good, I thought. Hellworld was not so far advanced and I didn’t see any of that beyond the scenes I was looping, but I was hearing good reports of it. At that point, I understood that the plan was to release Deader for Halloween last year with Hellworld coming out Spring this year. Then I heard Jan/Feb this year for Deader, which became Spring, which became August which now doesn’t seem to be happening." - Doug Bradley 8/2004

Dimension's 'Crow: Wicked Prayer' Flying DTV
Posted 11.30.04 @ 03:02 pm

After exchanging soft blows with an actress in the film (story) and warding off rumors from other websites regarding the release of Dimension Films' The Crow: Wicked Prayer, it looks like we were right on the money. In a special DVD holiday issue of Variety, Dimension announced the next 'Crow' film as one of their direct-to-video DVDs for 2005, alongside Hellrasier: Hellworld/Deader and The Prophecy sequels. I guess the reports are true- the film is terrible, but you'll be able to judge for yourself sometime in 2005. Lance Munjia's film stars Edward Furlong, Tara Reid, David Borianaz, Dennis Hopper, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Marcus Chong, Tito Ortiz, Rena Owen, Danny Trejo and Macy Gray.

Urbane is shooting June/July 2005

In response to the stupid postings about director Frazer Lee - he is FINE & the movie is going ahead.

Apologies for any concern/insult caused by this!

He could have just switched to directing porn.

Ridiculous. If true,a complete waste.I mean, you don't hang yourself because you can't get your horror movie made. You hang yourself if being successful in the film industry means you had anything to do with Deuce Bigalow 2.

The director has apparently hung himself due to lack of fan interest in the movie & repeated investor withdrawal after 6.5 years of hard work.

In a final email, sent to us at www.dougbradley.com and picked up by the authorities, he states: "No-one in movie-land is remotely interested in anything horror that is not a sequel or remake, so my 6 years of hard work is for nothing. Absolutely nothing. Bye!"

RIP, Frazer Lee. Long live remakes!

WARNING!

THIS IS FAKE... HELLBOY HAS SUFFERED ACCOUNT HACKING.

This occured over on my site, www.cenobite.com, in the forums as well. It is not true, the film is doing well and preparing to enter production and Frazer Lee is fine.

URBANE update: Frazer Lee interview & casting news

There's an interview with Urbane writer/director Frazer Lee here:

http://www.ohmygore.com/interviews/f...azer_leeuk.php

And in casting news, the producers are apparently courting Stephanie Leonidas (Neil Gaiman/Dave McKean's MIRRORMASK) for the lead role.
