Cold Fear

Here's another possible sleeper just around the corner (due in March on Xbox and PS2). It's an Action/Survival-Horror game from Ubisoft and Darkworks that basically looks like a cross between THE SUFFERING and RE4.

The game is set on an abandoned cargo ship in the middle of a huge arctic storm (at night, naturally).

The setting and concept alone had me hooked and now comes the trailer:

Sounds a little bit like Carrier for the dreamcast( at least as far as setting goes), but I don't think many people remember that game. I have it, and I barely remember it. Ha Ha. Actually it was ok, not too bad, but not great either.

This one looks great and as long as it has a good atmosphere and is able to send some chills our way it should be fun. From some of the pics I've seen it definitely has the gore factor down.

also in the tradition of Deep Fear on Sega Saturn. Now hands up who remembers that one?

Don't remember Deepr Fear, but Carrier was greatness.
