World of Warcraft

I'd be splitting time between this and MVP if Pennant Chase didn't look so damn promising.

nothing but plowing through half-life 2, again, using the super gravity gun. tossing combine soldiers into the air and watching them land anywhere is just obscenely satisfying.

I can't quite escape the twin delights of Football [that's Soccer to you guys] Manager 2005 and Combat Mission: Afrika Korps

After having it sitting here for a year, gathering dust, I got past the 3rd battle in Final Fantasy Tactics. Now that I've gotten used to it, I'm hardcore addicted.
As of tonight, I'm now playing MLB 2K5. Fuck EA, baby.

Unreal 2k4. jesus, nobody is playing on the servers at all these days. found one with a nice population of murderers. whoever churned out that remake of Torlan did a great job giving that old level some badly needed fresh air. fighting over that hilltop node is just brutal with everybody throwing everything they got at it...tanks, plasma tanks, the cicada's, raptors, manta's, artillery gun, laser turrets, machinegun turrets, redeemers...

going around in a manta destroying enemy armor is the key to that level...giving some poor bastards enough time to build a node and cut off the enemy; after that - smooth sailing.

super mario bros 3 on the gameboy advance. finished it several times...absolutely great that you can pick whatever level you want (after completing the entire game). still need to track down a copy of yoshi's island.
I finished all the races (well, except for that fucking GP with the F-1 racer. fuck that race) and I think I'm almost finished with the crash junctions on Burnout 3. After that I think I'll finally get back to San Andreas.

that fucker pissed me off to pieces. here I was thinking I was a cool cat finishing first in that race, not noticing it was a GP series...and had to do the other races...all in one sitting. my eyes were bugging out as I inched closer to the tv trying to get some kind of edge against the speed, enemy cars, and tracks.
It wouldn't be so bad if there weren't any lens flares. I don't know how many times I've been in the lead for 90% of the race only to finish last because I was taken out five seconds from the finish line because a lens flare hid an oncoming car from my sight.

Now playing GTA SA and consquently that is all im playing!
I'm still juggling a few games here and there, but more than anything I've been playing Onimusha Tactics for the GBA (on my DS). I'm kind of using it to get a feel for turn based strategy games since it's not the deepes tgame ever, but it is a lot of fun. Some of the cutscenes in between levels are pretty funny. It's kind of goofy, but I love it.
I finished Windwaker the other day, and I haven't picked up anything since. At some point, I'll get around to finishing Halo 2, Splinter Cell 2, and all the other games I've bought in the last few months that I haven't gotten around to. And then I'll buy KOTOR II and SC: Chaos Theory and get further behind on my video gaming.
Got a GC for Christmas, played through 75% of Mario Kart. I then bought and beat Twin Snakes, followed by Eternal Darkness. Now I'm playing Skies of Arcadia Legends. I got about 1/2way through the original before my DC stopped reading the bootleg I'd gotten. Again, it's borderline cutie pie, and the ship-to-ship combat is uneven, but its still one of the more satisfying RPGs I've touched.

All this is puncuated by regular Xbox relapses into Halo 2 and NHL 2K5.

Granted I play a lot less now that I have to fight over the tv in the living room because I can't pull my girlfriend away from Animal Crossing.
World of Warcraft takes up 90% of my gaming time. When the wife needs the pc then it's split between Resident Evil 4, ESPN NFL2K and ESPN NHL2K5

just some great games you've gotten your hands on legless.

started playing kotor 2 again. on dantoine killing things in the old academy. if the opening of the game weren't so tedious I'd start all over and play it on the pc - the x-box screen resolution is scraping my eyes, could be a little more crisper.

mindlessly enjoying it still, but hope to get around advancing the story.
World of Warcraft is consuming me again. On the consoles I've been scheduling the occasional Halo 2 Live match. And I'm holding my breath for the release of SC:CT on the 31st.
Star Wars Galaxies (PC): I've been playing this game for a few months now. Good stuff.

Civilization III: Conquests (PC)

X-Men Legends (XBOX)

Spider-Man 2 (XBOX)

Evil Genius (PC)

City of Heroes (PC)

Vampire (PC)
Well, I want to play Devil May Cry 3, but thanks to Blockbuster's new "No Late Fees" shenanigans, it's a pretty safe bet that any new game will be gone from their stores for at least a month, maybe two.

I just recently went through Metal Slug Advance and Castlevania: Aria Of Sorrow again, tho.
Still bangin' away on Godzilla: Save the Earth. My kid really loves that game.

Amen.

PLUS:

Need For Speed Underground (XBOX), Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes (GC), Star Wars Republic Commando (XBOX) and FIFA 2005 (XBOX).

March Madness got to me and I picked up College Hoops 2K5. Been playing the crap out of it, too. The legacy mode is fun--it's just deep enough to keep me playing. NFL 2K5 was a bit too involved in franchise mode for me. I tried to do all the practice scheduling and stuff, but I ended up just automating everything cause it was too much of a pain to do.

I picked up SC: CT today though, so building my College dynasty may get put on hold indefinately. We'll see.
Just wrapping up Timesplitters: Future Perfect right now.....then i'll be on either Doom 3 or Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory.
Currently playing the Settlers: Heritage of kings. It basically plays like an RTS with a really elaborate resource management system.
I've recently returned to burnout 3 to finish up (I'm about 25 gold medals away), which was a bad idea because I'm also playing Tekken 5, Devil May Cry 3, God of War and now Chaos Theory.
Does Kings of Chaos count? As far as video games go, I'm stuck on GTA:SA and have instead gone ahead and gotten Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories for the GBA, of which I'm playing on my DS.
since taking the games online my spare time is spent a little differently lately. Still playing Onimusha Tactics for the GBA, mostly on my commute to and from work. For PS2 I've been playing the various flavors of SOCOM online (and damn, it's more fun than I would have thought). Phantom Brave and Wild Arms 3 have taken a hit. Then there's my good 'ol Xbox. Halo 2 online is friggin' awesome, but I've been playing more Rainbow Six 3 online. Picked up the new Splinter Cell and looking forward to getting into that.
I just picked up SimCity 4 Deluxe and Morrowind GOTY. Between those and Myst IV, Civ, and Evil Genius, I think my deadlined essay is seriously fucked.
Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory - I'm pretty awful at it, but it sure is fun. I especially like it when I decide that I'm not going to save to just go running around stabbing people with the knife. That was especially fun on the second level, the ship, because it was so easy to run around the corner and just be on top of someone before they knew it.

Prince of Persia: Sands of Time - I'm slowly working my way through the game. I don't really like to play it for more than an hour at a time, so I just make some progress, then save and wait to pick the game back up tomorrow. I'm really enjoying it though.

Halo 2 - Still probably the game I play the most, even though I said I wasn't going to play until the anti-cheating patch came out. I just keep getting sucked in. (Ooh, one of my friends is online!)

doom 3...dig the surround sound effects even though it kind of gets boring during extended playage.

chaos theory. crawling through singleplay and learning the multiplay maps on the side.

getting my ass handed to me by mega man 1.

getting my ass handed to me by far cry.

staring at my ghouls ass in vampire.
Doom III (Mac) - Really fun. Simple, repetitive, easy... but fun!
Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (GCube) - been slowly making my way through this over the past year as I have spare bits of time... good stuff.
Resident Evil 4 (GCube) - Similarly slowly workin' my way through
Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat & Donkey Konga (GCube) - Bongo Madness!

all weekend long I'll be in the Guild Wars beta. Game looks fantastic with some features on par with half-life (water reflections), it has that Fable glow to it, and some of the towns/villages have some nice minor details/design.

Presently screwing around with my level 5 monk. The missions assigned so far aren't all that inspired, the combat is kind of boring/easy; maybe it would be more fun to hook up with some folks before heading out into the field.

So far no bugs to report. Game plays smoothly except for when your god damn norton antivirus does a scheduled checkup bringing everything to a crawl. I have to try the PVP servers sometime and see how that is.

San Andreas has sucked me back in. Hadn't touched it since before Christmas. Got hung up on the Green Sabre mission near the start, thanks to the still-cranky GTA targetting system, and when Halo 2, Half Life 2, KOTOR 2 and every other damn thing came along I just sort of drifted away from it.

The other day, with Doom 3 boring the musk from my man-breasts, I decided to stick San Andreas back on - if only to blow away the claustrophobic linear cobwebs of Id's folly with some free-roaming, open-plan goodness.

Aced the Green Sabre mission, got dumped in hillbilly town by Sam Jackson, and am back in full throbbing love with the game again. So immersive. Such a wondeful, dynamic gaming environment.

doom 3 all night and into today after nabbing the 3doom mod that was posted on another board - surprised it improved the looks a little bit. made my way through hell, got back...pretty sure I'm near the end of the game. will have to get the expansion pack later on.

really cannot wait for quake 4.
I'm still working on beating Resident Evil 4, finally made it to disc 2.

I found Max Payne 2 for the low price of $10 last night, so I had to pick it up. Been wanting to play it for a while, and it's awesome.

Also been playing Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth in preparation for an upcoming LAN. If my skill is any indication, I'm going to die quickly.
I picked up Spiderman 2 for the little guy's birthday, and we put in about an hour last night. Having Bruce Campbell voice the in-game tutor is a classy touch.

On simple level, the game's easy enough for my 5-yr-old to swing around New York, and the 1-button attack mode makes fighting simple enough for him to have a great time bringing the hurt to the baddies.

His first words when he popped out of bed this morning? "Can we play Spiderman?" That's a winner.
Playing Shadow Hearts 1 for the PS2.

After loving Shadow Hearts II I had to buy the first one and play through it. This series is one of the best RPG's ever.

cant wait for part III to come out this fall.
In order to keep my inner Star Wars nerd in check for the next 28 days, I've gone back to KOTOR.

And as much as aspects of that game still piss me off to no end, it IS helping.

Other than that, it's been a steady revolving door of DMC 3, God of War, and the nightly Doom 3 excursion.

Halo 2 will get more of my attention come New Map Day.

RE4-Again!! Love this game!!!
X-Men Legends
Baten Kaitos
Said fuck off to PoP:WW when I got all the life upgrades, I don't really care about the ending.
Mario Kart thanks to my friend Jenn (she's got me hooked since it's the only thing she'll ever play)
and a smattering of others

doom 3 finally finished. think I'll nab the expansion pack tomorrow and psychonauts if it's still in stock at cc.
Went on a buying binge recently after my documented long absence from playing anything remotely new...and thinking I should of perhaps have paced myself...

So...

Otogi 2
Splinter Cell 2
Doom 3 (though I beat it I'll be tackling Ultimate and Doom 2)
Crimson Skies
Jade-Empire
Phantom-Dust

Debating picking up WoW or Guild Wars but I really not sure if I should pick up something like...especially if I won't find time for it...
LEGO Star Wars: one of the most fun platformers I've played in years. Great use of both licenses, great replay value, great sense of humour. Hope they do an OT version.

Predator: Concrete Jungle: Nice idea, lousy execution. Wants desperately to be a gory horror version of Spider-Man 2, but the fucking awful camera, flimsy combat and skittish controls doom it from the start. No atmosphere or pace either.
Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory - played through co-op on split-screen with a buddy, and am almost finished with the single player campaign. I haven't gotten online yet, though.

Jade Empire - Just made it to the big city. Enjoying the game, but some of the reviews were overly kind, I fear.

Psychonauts - Just got this Saturday, and can't say enough about it. Those of you who aren't familiar with Schafer's previous work might not be as thrilled as I am with the game, but so far I find it outstanding in every way.

Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil - I'm up to the final boss, just need to finish him off to complete it.

Is it just me or were the bosses in this game ridiculously boring and easy?
