Zijn er ook nog Nederlanders?( Are there any dutch people around?)

Anybody going to the Elf Fantasy Fair in holland or the New Starcon 3?

Daar zijn onwijs weinig Nederlanders/mensen die Nederlands spreekt hier, ik weet echt niet warrom. Maybe the site should be more klompen-oriented. When and where is this stuff happening? I'm thinking of going back to Den Haag this summer.

The Elf Fantasy fair is on the 23rd and 24th of April and will be featuring Andy Serkis(Gollum) among others, very medieval feeling to the Festival , with jousting and stuff.

The new Starcon 3 will feature the Matrix twins (the albino dread guys not the other guys)and David Carradine and thats on the 14th and 15th of may (visit http://www.newstarcon.com)
And in September there is the Screenheroes convention the biggest one of the year with all kinds of actors mostly from science fiction films, but there's more to it then that, it could be a nice day out iff your on holidays in Holland and that's on the 24th and 25th of september (visit http://www.screenheroes.com).

But ofcourse don't forget to visit Amsterdam .

Thanks, these all sound really cool, and it occurs to me that I can always just hop a train and head there for the day. Yet another great thing about NL, the transportation.
