ESRB adds PG-level rating to system

Well, they're calling it "E10+" but you get the idea. I think this is a smart thing to do, something that should have been done from the beginning. It's nice to see parents who are actually involved with what their kids play, too. Quite a change of pace from the parents who leave their kids unmonitored and get pissed after the fact when they find out their 12 year old has been killing hookers and cops in San Andreas.

Does this mean all of Nintendo's games will now be rated "E-10" instead of "E"?

I think something between T and M would have made more sense. A lot of FPS games (like Medal of Honor) aren't really bloody enough to warrant a M but I think most parents wouldn't want younger teens playing them.
