I Just read that absolutely regoddamndiculous story about William Poole being arrested for terrorism, for writing a FUCKING ZOMBIE STORY!!!!!!!!!!!
C'mon people this kid is gonna need some help here, if any one at creature-corner or any of you folks have any ideas or know how to contact a judge or congressman to do something or start a damn petition, Poole is one of us, and deserves our support.
Now if this case sets a presedent, then george Romero will be considered Osama Bin Fucking Zombie, and we can forget about kids and younger people coming up with new horror or sci-fi for the masses....
we need to do something here!!!!!!!!!!
If not, then we are all well on our way to 1984 people.

I googled the hell out of William Poole and can't find anything relevant about his situation. This is a freaking dangerous, completely misguided knee-jerk attack on the right of a human being to not be arrested for WHAT HE THINKS and puts on paper as a creative venture. If he goes down, what's next? Please, if anyone has any information about petitions or contact information about who to write to to voice my disgust with this Nazi-assed activity, I would be greatly appreciate it. I advise everyone else to also let their voice be heard about this. In this political climate, where the line between right wing morality and executive government is blurred nearly to invisibility, happenings of this sort have to be quelled before they impact the basic rights guaranteed in the constitution. The greatest thing the human animal has to offer this world is the ability to create, and if the current political climate is ready to use any means necessary to quell A SHORT STORY, it's a danger to a great percentage of what is most noble and important about the American way of life. This shit's got to be nipped in the bud.

Any news would be greatly appreciated.

We should wait for all the details to emerge before we make a martyr out of this student. Poole is the only one who is saying that it’s a fictional zombie story. There was a student who said that Poole's sister had read his journal and she said it wasn’t about zombies. There was something in it that made his family turn him into the police, and I’ve read that he was attempting to organize an armed takeover of the school. Someone said he had a map marking the video cameras in the school, he’s been assaulting people all year, and he had an estimate on how long it would take the police to reach the school. This might also be bullshit, but the police aren’t saying much because the investigation is still going on.

William Poole, 18, of 426 E. Broadway, was arrested at GRCHS
Tuesday. Acting on a tip from a family member, police reported that
he was attempting to "recruit a gang to take over the school,"
according to Detective Berl Perdue.
The threat involved the use of weapons, according to Purdue. "He
didn't have a gang, but he was attempting to organize one," he said.
Purdue added that no threat was made against a specific individual.
GRCHS Principal John Atkins said he could not comment on whether
Poole has been in disciplinary trouble at the school due to
confidentiality reasons. He did comment that, "I know him."
Police recovered writings in which Poole allegedly attempted to
convince other students to participate in an armed takeover. He was
being held this morning at the Clark County Detention Center. During
a hearing in Clark District Court this morning, Poole's bond was
increased from a $1,000 to a $5,000 cash bond based on a prosecution
motion.
Atkins said he has been unable to share some information with
students and staff about the incident due to the continuing
investigation. Classes continued normally Wednesday and today and
there have been no problems, Atkins said.
"We did not have any concern that students had weapons at school,"
he said. "We don't know who's included in this. That's what we're
working on, to see if there were other individuals involved. ...
We're not sure that there are."
