For the Xbox?

It has theme, concept, and art in spades...but what about gameplay?

I've heard it's a blast especially in multi play with the destructable environments. And for 20, I'll definately pick it up.

Yeah, yeah, shill and all. BUT gamestop.com has the game for $20, a $20 mail in rebate and free cheapass shipping. so, for like 2 bucks, a (I hear) sweet multiplayer game. Anyway, here's the code for free shipping FREESHIPALL and the link for the rebate is http://gamestop.com/gs/landing/coupon20pd.asp . I'm getting it and wouldn't mind have some Chewer ass to kick. That is all. End shilling.

Otherwise I would have been all over it. That sucks. But still, if it's good, it will still only be $20.

Edit: Was it one of their daily specials? If so, that could explain the brief time alotted to use it, and I would have less of a reason to be irate. Ha ha!

No problem. Right after I saw your post I figured it was a good deal, and hoped the game had some potential to be fun, so I went right on over to the coupon with the intent to use it. I just read through it and then looked at the calendar... then in my mind I shook my fist in the air.

The game itself looks ok. I saw a trailer for it just last week, from it's official page. It kind of gave me a Fist of the North Star type vibe, with probably less blood and guts and more flashy lights and particle effects. It looks pretty nice and if it has halfway decent multiplayer gameplay then it should be a pretty good deal. The single player mode sounds kind of hefty too, with about 200 missions or so, but who really knows how it will be? I think I read some previews that seemed positive about it.

IGN had a review of the import that was really positive, a 9 I think, which got me sort of interested in it. And then I read some musings on the online hidden demo on an OXM disc where some guy mentioned running into a building, low on health, spinning around, launching some bigass attack on his foe which collapsed the whole building on both of them, killing them both. And I said, "Damn."

This is pretty sweet. Hitting a guy so hard he slams into the ground putting a big dent in it is cool. As is tossing a fireball towards a guy and watching it take out a wall he was hidding behind. And the music is awesome. Worth my 20 bucks so far...and I haven't even been online yet.
