Who are you going to vote for and what are your views on them? What do you think about the other parties and what parts of party's policies do you agree/disagree with?

If you have, who did you vote for last time, and why? Why are/aren't you going to vote for them again? What are your views on the election overall and the candidates?

What state will the country be in if a aprticular party gets elected? Will it be smooth running or do you completely disagree with having them in charge? Will they solve our problems?

What are the most important agendas to you that need to be looked at? NHS? The War? Employment?

Generally have it out, offering up your views and challenging other people's if needs be. I want to hear what the rest of the British public think, and what the rest of the world's views are on our country.

I am going with the Liberal Democrats as well seen as they seen to be the more pragmatic of the three main parties. Plus the fact I am actually a member of the Liberal Democrats...

They just seem to have policies designed to benefit the many rather than the few. I find Labour's handling of certain public services to be awful and the shadow of Thatcher hangs over Mr. Howards head far too much for me to even consider voting for them.

I just really, really hope that Nick Griffon doesn't win his seat in Keighley or Bradford will be under the thumb of the BNP just like Burnley... Then again his trial may upset their plans.

Now a lot of grass roots conservatives are saying we need to cange the government just to shake things up - that the best we can get is, not a party that truly reflects our views, but just one that isn't complacent about staying in power. and that i have to agree with. however Howard is acting like satan. i'm sure he's taking notes from america. i would not vote conservative anyway (i don't have enough money for one thing) but their tactics are already chilling me.

unfortunately i live in a labour safe seat so my vote simply does not count.

Lib Dems!

Or failing that, Kodos.

That's not fair. The UK gets a quintillion different parties, and in American we have two. Weak.

Is there some satirical reason why the poll colours are the wrong way round (Labour - blue, Conservative - red)?

We may have dozens of parties, but the bewildering mechanics of Proportional Representation pretty much ensure there are only two in the race.

There is no PR in England.

It's the first past the post system which ensures a two-way race, and prevents other parties getting into power.

You're absolutely right, what I meant to say was first past the post. My head isn't on straight this morning.
