Every so often a day comes along that you know you will probably be out a Benjamin, June 7th is looking that way for me.

Karate Kid SE: Finally by itself, no way I was gonna buy all of those movies together.

Sopranos Season 5: $65 on Amazon looks to be the cheapest price so far.

Direct Action: Dolph Lundgren's next straight to video classic, crooked cops beware!

I also noticed that an "Extended Director's" edition of "Tears of the Sun" is due that day. But I want to know what exactly is being extended, Willis and company blowing dudes away or Willis and company walking with fleeing village folks.

Okay, maybe THE SOPRANOS and KARATE KID isn't all that exciting, but a new Dolph movie is always worth taking a sick day for. Check out the trailer for DIRECT ACTION here:

So true about I COME IN PEACE, but I did just learn that STONE COLD is coming on 6/28. I'll take that for now.

But I do think that the trailer for DIRECT ACTION just has 1991 written all over it, which is a good thing. Maybe I should post it in another forum where it can get more praise and probably a bit of ridicule.

Yeah I saw that about Stone Cold. I prefer my Baxley with Brian Benben and Matthias Hues with a touch of a heavenly chested blonde bombshell automechanic though. Use to love Stone Cold back in the day but i've soured on the main girl and some of the plot shenigans.

Boz, Lance and William were game though.

Plus I love the ripoff ending taken straight from DIE HARD when Henricksen gets smoked by Boz's cop buddy. Normally I don't like such blatent theft but if you're going to steal from a movie you may as well steal from the best.

Just FYI – I COME IN PEACE is out on R2 now as DARK ANGEL.

As for the R1 STONE COLD, excellent news. My trifecta of the skuzziest Lance Henriksen villain roles (other 2 being Johnny Handsome and Hard Target, of course) will soon be complete.

Thanks Isao, I knew I COME IN PEACE was available in R2 but I've resisted the urge to get it because I can't bring myself to buy that film with that title. I COME IN PEACE says it all and sets up Lundgren's "You go in pieces" line perfectly. I'll probably cave and get it once STONE COLD is out because that's pretty much it for older movies I really want on DVD, PERFECT WEAPON might be nice but I won't lose any sleep over its lack of availability.
