"Transformers: The Movie"

I got a choked up over Braveheart, American Beauty and Forrest Gump the first time I saw them.

And openly cried during Big Fish, both times I saw it.

I'm sure there are more, just none that I can think of off the top of my head.

La Bamba.
Man, I was sad when Richie died.

And Eternal Sunshine, mostly because I'd just gone through a bad break-up.

Danny Boyle's Millions. During and for a long time afterwards.

Also: Spellbound (the documentary), The Straight Story, Schindler's List, and Requiem for a Dream.

Watership Down.
Willard.
Deerhunter.

Watership Down never fails to get me. Also there's a Korean/Chinese movie called Failan that tugs the ol' heartstrings too.

ROTJ: "I am a Jedi, like my father before me." & the funeral scene.

Ladder 49. I know alot of good firemen. That one did it for me.

Hoosiers: the last line and the picture.

TPM: When Qui-Gon dies. He would have been so cool if he were alive duing the Clone Wars.

Jerry Maguire: "You had me at hello."

The American President. Don't know why this one does it.

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Well, because it was the Last Crusade. Ever.

Edward Scissorhands. Man that movie was a gut-punch.

I Am Sam. Sean Penn really had it down.

Miracle. Tears of Joy here.

Batman and Robin. Tears of anguish here.

Brian's Song. Listen to the commentary w/ Williams and Caan.

Rudy - carried off by the crowd
Signs - when the kid starts breathing again
Somewhere in Time - used to make me cry anyway but now I can't even watch it
Seabiscuit - most of the movie, really
The Sixth Sense - when he talks to his sleeping wife
Spiderman - when the uncle dies
Saving Private Ryan - I know it's based on false history but still

Hey - I just realized those all start with S - except for Rudy.

Well, I cry at a lot of movies. Hell, I had to hold back the tears while watching Lemony Snicket on a plane - and I had even seen it before. These really get me going, though:

Empire of the Sun

Return of the King

Moulin Rouge

F9/11 (the part with the mother reading the letter from her son)

Shaun of the Dead (no, not just tears of laughter - I break down at least 3 times watching this one)

That's all I can think of, at the moment.

When I was young, Top Gun made me cry(hey, I liked Goose).
As for recent stuff, not much. The scene in the Sixth sense with Haley and his mother in the car(the grandmother thing) does though. And Eternal Sunshine ALMOST did(hits a little close to home).

Shawshank Redemption-- Red's voiceover ("I hope.") with the final shot on the beach, and I'm a goner.

Glory-- Everything from when Broderick gets it in the head to the end.

Léon: The Profesisonal-- Because Jean Reno is a truely awesome actor, and he pulls off a remarkable performance in this. "This is from Mathilda" remains one of the best line deliveries ever given in cinema.

Schindler's List-- "I'm a horrible man. Such a horrible man." It gets a lot of crap around these parts as contrived, but it works on every level for me.

"I'm going to tell you a secret...You're a much stronger player than I was at your age."
Iron Giant. First time, every time.
For some reason the only movies that choke me up are sports movies ( RUDY, MIRACLE, REMEMBER THE TITANS.) My friends like to watch RUDY with me just to call me a weeping little bitch at the end.

Return of the king

My friends you bow to no one

I think ROTK but more because I wasn't going to have a masterpiece to look forward too during xmas time anymore.
besides that I think I only cried in:

What Dreams May Come - When Robin Williams finds out that Cuba is actually his son and that line about him being the only man he would go through hell with.

Frequency - The end when Dennis Quaid saves Jim Caviezel's life and the whole family plays babseball together

Conan the Barbarian - when conan's mom get's decapitated.

Swingers - when Mikey hangs up on his ex as she is about to say "I Love You" this is more tears of joy because I was going through a very similar situation (haven't we all) and God knows I always wanted to do that to my ex.

and of course,
Anchorman - when Baxter gets punted
