Trailer. New Tony Jaa film. Wow.

We don't get much, but wow. That kick to the face rocks my world.
well i posted that in the asian film thread but got no response.

I too was wowed. It looks like more of the same ass kicking action from Ong Bak...which is ALWAYS a good thing.

I don't need Tony to reinvent the wheel here, I just want him to stick with what worked so well in the 80s Golden Harvest heydeys...good fights and good stunts.

That was ok. Poor quality trailer though. Any hi rez out there?

Thought you were talking about the soup, you got me all excited there!

The official site has been updated with pictures, a better quality teaser and other stuff. Also here's info on Tony Jaa's next project.

This is a fight I want to see.

Is this the one that's also known as Born to Fight or is that a completely different film?

Still haven't seen this kid in action yet. CAN YOU BELIEVE????????????
I am still really looking forward to this movie. I have 100% faith Jaa and company will wow the industry one more time.

EDIT

Born to Fight is a film made by a lot of the same crew from Ong Bak, notable Tony Jaa's master and ong bak fight choreographer. Tony Jaa is not in the movie.

Tom Yum Goong is the official follow up to Ong Bak by the same crew including Director Prachiya Pinkawe and the same amazing stunt team.

MWHAAHAHAHAHAH!!!!

That's Nathan Jones, the Colosass of Bogga Road to pro wrestling fans. He also has a nickname fans like to giggle out: Milkman. Basically, he was on roids and it screwed with his body; his manboobs floweth with necture (i.e. he cold squirt milk out of his manly teats).

Yeah, I'd love to see him use his 'special attack' on Jaa. BTW, thnx for the unintentional humor.

Isn't that the guy from TROY that Brad Pitt stabs in the opening?

played Giant Baddie #1 in a Jackie Chan movie too.
Oh wait, was he the dude that slammed Jackie against the hotel room ceiling in First Strike?
that's the guy.

New full-length trailer here:

I saw Ong Bak twice earlier this year and was blown away, but this knocks that out of the park.

Yea. I have been looking to this movie as basically the second coming of GOOD martial arts films. Hong Kong sure as hell aint doin em. And all of HKs former stars are floundering in America.

Thailand is martial arts cinema's new savior...plus its full of whores!!!
I second that motion. Tony Ja looks to be the Martial Arts savior right now. I showed the trailer to my two little nieces and they went ape when Tony was scaling the fences like Spiderman heh.
I went ape when Jaa jumped off of the roof of a building and kneed a guy hanging from a helicopter. He's gonna be dead in like five years. No way he's able to keep this kind of shit up.

F.T.W. Kid

Holy christ. I can't believe some of the stunts that were in that trailer. Tony doing a Jackie Chan off a building just floored me. Looks like Tony even get's a hot steamy love scene as well. GO TONY.

second coming he ain't, but this does look like it'll have good beatings.

have to say the angry/intense pose just looks silly on him, not Brucesque as hoped. and what was that guy trying to say in English at the end of the trailer?
