Hope I don't bore anybody with this, but what the heck does PWNED! mean? I mean I think I get it, but I don't GET it. Where did it come from? Was it just a typo that became self aware and infected the net? Or is it really just some cool lingo that I missed out on? I lean more towards the infection thing because whenever I see it I get a little twitchy. I think I have a higher amount of the antibodies to fight it off in my system, and the twitching is just them doing their thing and trying to keep me healthy.
My posts tend to have lots of typos, and I try to fix them when I see them, I miss letters, join words together, spell stuff wrong, but I try not to come off too goofy. This pwned stuff seems self induced though. Oh well, maybe I'm just not as cool as I though I was, and I'm pretty sure I wasn't the coolest guy to begin with. I'm ok though.
How is it pronounced? Do you just say "owned" or is is "pew-ned" If it's pew-ned then I'm really confused.
