I'd sit very still. I love Thompson, but my collection of his stuff isn't even close to complete, so I'd love to hear about the albums I haven't gotten to yet. It still mystifies me that he's still considered a cult figure, at best.

Shoot Out the Lights is one of those albums that anyone could get into. With just general exposure to rock music, there's no learning curve to appreciating those songs.

No, it's goddam unlistenable, and I say that as someone who enjoys both Renaissance music AND Deep Purple about equally.
