It's a positive review comparing it to the fun drive-in movies of old. Here's a quote-
"But Christopher Seguine’s manic editing style, Atlantic West’s terrific makeup effects, Al Magliochetti’s in-your-face visual effects and the fresh, "fuck y’all" directing style of Gabe Bartalos are among Skinned Deep’s many highlights. "
Of all the movies out there, this one must be pretty special to warrant being one of The Corner's chosen few.

A lengthy interview by the same author with anonymous makeup effects artist Al Magliochetti. Now where have I heard that name before?
The interview opens with:
"In the spirit of total disclosure, I've known Al Magliochetti for over thirty years. We were both born and raised in Hamden, Connecticut. We met in 1973, in our high school Cinematography class. We've worked together, both in and out of the film/television industry."
This full disclosure would have been better served before you're "review" of his movie.
