Was that the Star Wars kid in the cantina?!? Now I'm going to have to go back and rewatch some of those SWK remixes.

This amused me highly... thanks for the link.

I just couldn't watch it. I tried. But Darth Vader had just destroyed the planet when the (dun dah dahhh) horrible internet voice acting proved too much. Why must this be the case time and time again? You've gone to the trouble of stitching together your little animation. You wrote some jokes (highly subjective term). Why not look to your friends for a little bit of voice work? Do you have a sister? Let her read the lines of at least one female character. Realize that not every black person talks like one of the g-unit. Especially realize this if the character is never seen. Don't do that fake ghetto accent. It doesn't sound nearly as convincing to anyone else as it does to you. Your "redneck" isn't much better. And if you absolutely must use that pencil mic that came with your computer, at least throw a sock or something over it to sort of muffle your pops and hisses.

And that's how I really feel.

Wow did I post this on AICN????

Come on man its just a joke, this isn't for money he made nothing off this and spent his own time. Plus the way they voiced Vader was a black guy from the 70's, hell they even had Isaac from the loveboat (from the 70's). So no this wasn't based off G-unit, and Vader never cursed once (like most rappers these days are prone to do).

So to reiterate, IT WAS A JOKE!!!! If you didn't like it fine, but your reasons for not liking it sound so damn petty and pointless. Now go back to AICN's talkbacks and whine about how Bryan Singer is trying to cast gay actors in big film roles.

That doesn't make the end result any less terrible.

Semantics. Doing Vader in a spoof black accent just because James Earl Jones did the voice is a tired, lazy gag.

I don't think anyone thought it was a documentary.

It's badly animated, it's badly acted and it's badly written. Those sound like three pretty solid reasons for not liking an online comedy animation.

Dan all of your reasons for not liking this are alright, yes it was badly, animated, but I thought the jokes usually were pretty funny. I'll admit some jokes fall flat (hitting Jar-Jar in the desert) but to hate something because it doesn't look the best or that some of the voice acting was bad (though obi-wan I thought was great) does not make it bad. Plus most people I show it to like it. But echo didn't even stay with the whole thing he watched the beginning and stopped. So yeah his points that the animation was bad are true but that and the voice acting do not make it bad right away. I know the beginning is painfully unfunny (at least until Vader talks to the Emper-ah) but at least stay half way before you call something garbage.

Dan show me some funny online comedy animation that is superior to this.
