Quizno's

I am a lover of their subs. There was a local place in Rochester that could make them better, but unfortunately I've moved on from there, and Quizno's now has the best most toastiest subs in the neighborhood. They sent me a coupon good for a free drink and chips with the purchase of a sub, and I figured some of the rest of you might get some mileage on it too, so here's a link:

I love that place. However, Pot Bellies has replaced them as my goto hot sub joint of choice.

Plus, Pot Bellies has IBC rootbeer. You lose Quizno's.

But Quizno's has MUG root... awww, who am I kidding. You're right. Too bad we don't have them here in Boston.

What do you get when you put a piece of shit through a toaster oven?

MMMMM, Toasty.

Maybe it's just the abhorent people working at the one by my office, but fuck Quiznos. Now everyone's installing a toaster oven to heat up slimy deli meat sandwiches. No thanks.

Wait. You live in Somerville and are trying to tell me that in all of Porter/Davis/Powderhouse/Union squares, not to mention the Italian enclave of Winter Hill, there's no better hot sub place than that? Bah.

Their soups give me diarrhea.

I'm not a big Quizno's fan. Now Blimpies? Oh, yeah.
Mmmmm. Blimpie's Best. Great cold and fantastic hot.

There's nothing like a nice bout of the meat sweats following the gagging down of a shit-encrusted oven turd. Yummy!

Wow, looks like I'm missing out on a lot with this whole 'no meat' thing...

A few of their sandwiches are pretty damn good, though the price you pay for a large combo is practically enough to invade a small country.

Go hug a tree, ya hippie!

And Blimpies is better. Grilled beats toasted in my opinion.

But I eat out at a fast food restarant MAYBE 6 times a year. That shit is bad for you.

I've never been a fan of Quizno's. I really don't think their sandwichs are that good, especially for how pricey they are.

Potbellies is my new favorite. Love getting the wreck with everything on it. Mmmmm.
Right. The Wreck and the Meatball. Best two.

I'm a big fan of Quizno's, it's the only place in town I can get a decent veggie sub that doesn't consist primarily of lettuce and and soggy white bread.

And they put guacamole in it! And olives and mushrooms! Damn it, now I may have to make a trip down there today...
I've been there twice and wasn't particularly won over by it.

Nobody beats the Quiz!

Actually, most do.
They have the tendency to over saturate with goop before they toast.

In Austin, I'll stick with Delaware Subs. It's the closest I've found to an East Coast sub down here.
The fuckheads fired me on my first day on the job!

Seriously, though their stuff's good but a little overpriced for me. SubWay's better, IMO.

The last time I went to Quizno's I ordered the steak and cheese and got a steak sandwich with some kind of cheese sauce they squeezed out of a fucking pastry bag.

My rankings of sub places:

Subway - The McDonalds of subs. Barf.
Togo's - Used to be much better, one of the best in California, now they seem to take after Subway with the whole low quality processed pseudo-food products.
Poor Boy - Pretty alright. Their bread could be better, but they actually slice their own meat.
Quizno's - Sorry, but I like my deli meats fresh, and with more than a mouse fart of vegetables. Their breads are decent, their pepper sauce is awesome, and boy are they expensive.
Submarina - I can't tell if they slice their own meat or not, but the sandwiches and freshly made macaroni salads I've had there have been pretty good. They also have a decent selection in terms of breads, meats, cheeses and condiments.
The deli section in Albertson's - Trumps all. 26 different kinds of freshly sliced REAL meats, (ditto cheeses) 20 some odd freshly made salads (fruit, waldorf, potato, macaroni, etc), 8 kinds of freshly baked breads, whole isles full of chips, drinks, etc, of Coke AND Pepsi products (cold ones in mini fridge) and your meal with a custom sandwich, salad/chips and liter drink is 7 dollars.

Anyone have a Jersey Mike's near them?

They bread is just of "eh," but they fresh slice their meats right in front of you and their toppings always seem fresh.

I bounce between them and Subway. Subway has better breads and a slightly larger variety of toppings, and Jersey Mike's has the better meat.

I like Quizno's. There must really be some awful franchises around the country but each time I've gone to one I've thoroughly enjoyed it. Therefore I will be using this coupon. Thank you.

Subway is the only one for me. I've been to Quizno's, and they're OK, but I just don't like their menu selection much (or their prices). Subway on the other hand has what I like, for a decent price, and they're reliably good food everywhere I've eaten in one.

The best sub shop I've ever been to is New York Sub on Queen st. in Toronto. Their grilled jumbo lamb burrito is the best 750 calories money can buy. God's food.

I'm a Subway man but Quiznos is certainly quite good as well.
