What I find amazing is Theroux’s ability to coax the stupidities out of hardcore racists, nutty, gun-toting survivalists etc. whilst all time remaining in their favour. It’s almost as if he’s got them hypnotized. As for the Swingers episode in which that gorgeous girl tells him she loves giving strangers oral sex and then ranks him a nine-out-of ten for looks – I don’t believe for one minute he passed that offer up.
