What kind of sicko watches THIS and makes a comment like this:

"Man, only see this if you want to see REAL stuff. Seems like all b roll newsfootage. Really gory. Production values a little bad but looks like they did what they can to clean it up. Hardcore stuff, MUCH better that wimpy Faces of D."

I remember someone sending me a link of footage taken from the cockpit of an Apache Gunship showing the chopper shooting down Iraqis one by one, in the same sentiment, because the sender thought it was "cool."

Yeah, I vaguely remember some clown masturbating over something similar on here a few years ago.

This brings into an interesting point about horror films. I think that no matter how gruesome a horror film, something in the back of your mind tells you that it's all fake, that the guy or women who is dying a horrible death on the screen in real life will get up when the director yells "cut" and grab and cup of coffee and start washing the gloop off.
When you see real footage that does not happen.
This is why people I know who are fans of some of the worst "Splatter " films get upset by gruesome footage on the evening news.

ha...that was my thought as well.

I cannot handle gross stuff at all, especially flesh eating movies.

I had put this picture up for Land of The Dead on the CHUD movie page and almost got sick! That is how sensitive I am to this gross stuff! I know it is fake and yet I can't stand it and yet I share with others...go figure

I'm just thankful it was not brain splattering or eating....yuck.

I'm not turned off by gore at all, either real or fake, it takes something really special to make me feel sick or offend me. But that isn't the kind of thing I'd be interested in seeing, using real execution footage as cheap entertainment is really disrespectful to the dead. If I knew a bunch of drunk jocks were ever going to be hooting and hollering while watching a video of me being executed I'd be fucking pissed off.

There is nothing "cool" about that footage. That chopper DISINTIGRATES that guy and turns him into a spot on the ground. It does not take that many rounds to kill three people. Someone should have told the pilot to save the bloodlust for Halo 2.

I'm not a big fan of that footage, either, but I just thought I'd jump in with a quick fact: the apache fires a chaingun, & it's impossible to fire one or two rounds with a chaingun. It fires in bursts.
