Bluesmobile Rides Again

I did a search and didn't find anything about this so here goes. Check out the video on from the link below. The guy built up a "Bluesmobile" and recreated some of the stunts and scenes from the movie in the actual locations where they were shot. Kind of entertaining.

I know Travis (the bald guy) driving the car in the video. But, it is mostly for his dedication to the General Lee and all things Dukes of Hazzard. He was the guy who spent 2 years and around $35,000 of his own money putting together a 25th Anniversary reunion in my hometown a couple of years ago.

The video is cool for splicing footage from The Blues Brothers along with the current footage. That is a very old mall, as I think I remember John Landis saying it was already closed down when they chose to film the movie there in the late 70s.

Right you are moovyphreak. Landis turned a closed mall into one that could be wrecked.

And how can that guy afford to build two movie cars but not a domain name? They're like, what? $20? Cheap bastard!
