Did anyone check out the deleted scenes on the MOF 2-Disc?

The Alternate ending with Denzel wearing his own bomb is awesome....I wish it would have made the final cut.....the goofy ass grin on his face when the watch counts down to zero is priceless....

as for the rest of the scenes, how can a movie that is already 2 and a half hours long have 30-minutes of unused footage? And most of them took place BEFORE the kidnapping (the whole Creasy/Lisa subplot, which I'm glad didn't make the final cut)....I guess it's good to know that Tony showed some restraint while making this thing....

I haven't gotten into the documentary yet, but it looks like it'll be fun...it was definitely worth waiting for this disc....

That would have lessened the sense of sacrifice for me. The whole deal that he was going to endure whatever he would instead of the girl, going in unarmed and with honour. It's much more tragic and has a deeper emotional feel than if he'd blown them all up. For me, anyway.

I love this movie. Creasy is such a badass. Most people who I talk to who have seen it always bring up . . . the assbomb. Is that considered cutting-edge when torturing someone?

it was cutting edge when Juicy Busey did it about 20 years ago in Eye of the Tiger

but MOF is a great movie, and I'm looking forward to seeing these new extras.

The deleted scenes fit in well in my opinion. I also did like the alternate ending but prefer to keep the theatrical ending in mind when thinking about the movie as a whole.
