It's just not the same without Marc Summers.

Ah, Marc Summers. The man who pioneered the "jeans with sneakers and a sport-coat" look.

I always thought he had a thing on the side with Robin the Dare-wench.

Man i was about to post how putting Double Dare on DVD is kind of a bad idea, but I liked the idea that it was even going to be on DVD...until I read what this thread was actually about.

Double Dare was the tits back in the day and marc summers was the king of nickelodeon. Isn't he hosting some stupid ass animal gameshow now on animal planet?

All I know is that he is a king among men hosting the Food Networks "Unwrapped".

He's also my god for taking it up the ass from Burt Reynolds like a man, live on Leno.

I must've missed that episode.

Double Dare still comes on the Nickelodeon Gas channel. I loved the show as a kid and, watching it now, I still love it. Marc Summers was a great host. I'd buy season sets of the show in a heartbeat.

Don't settle for imitations such as Double Dare 2000. The show just seems like it's trying to hard and on top of that it seems very disorganized at times. Additionally, it seems to be missing something. Oh yeah, they're missing Marc Summers! The man with green slime in his veins and flags at home for toilet paper. FYI: The host of Double Dare 2000 is Ben Savage's stunt double, Jason Harris. However, Marc Summers was a producer on the show.
