Fix the Joke, Baby!

So, I'm at work and a buddy of mine tells me a joke he made up:

"What do you call Michael Jackson's childhood?"

"A Little White Lie"

He thinks it's funny...I personally don't get it. It doesn't make sense. However I do see potential in the punchline. I think with the right setup that punchline could make for a hilarious Michael Jackson joke. And while I know MJ jokes aren't on the pinnacle of topical humor, I was just wondering if my fellow Humorous Chewers could help fix the joke.

Let the humor ensue.

I'm afraid the only way to fix it, is to stop telling Michael Jackson jokes.

Ah - perhaps the best advice, indeed.

Wouldn't 'A little black lie' do it? A pun and a punchline in one.

If he's found innocent, then perhaps I can see how "A little white lie" could be used as a joke punchline. You'll just have to wait.

A near-death experience tunnel. Black with a little bit of white at the end.

You should have punched him in the face.

I'm not sure why this throwaway thread from over a year ago was the one in which the guy decided to make his first post.

My favorite MJ joke:

What's the difference between Neil Armstrong and Michael Jackson?

Highlight for answer: One walks on the moon... and the other fucks little boys.

Since this thread is bumped maybe you guys can help me find a punchline for for this set-up:

Why did Eric Clapton's son fall out of a 53rd story window?
