I loved this story. I was the reader and it's funny/horror vibe really hooked me.

I enjoyed the polite monsters and, like Eucalyptus, the combination of humor and gore. The ending grated on me a bit, because the epiphany seems to be tossed in from nowhere. The character doesn't arrive at the conclusion by himself; it feels as though the author forced it on him. It connects nicely to the setting and action, it's just the reveal that seems jarring.

Reminded me of Return of the Living Dead Part 2 where the red head lets her boyfriend have just one bite of her brain. Excellent atmoshpere cast throughout the story.
