Uh, kinda late since I proposed 4 weeks ago but I figured that anyone whose known me for some time on these boards ought to be let in on the news.

Did it at the beach at sunset...and luckily she said yes.

Oh and this is us....in the attached image.

Incredibly...I found out she's into video games AFTER I proposed. That and she loves watching the tons of Asians films I watch.

I certainly lucked out with this one.

Also...I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance...but not with Geico.

Well if it helps, I do enjoy the theatre...

Also, there's a good chance I could be re-locating to the Phillippines later next year due to what my fiancee happens to do for a living. So if life doesn't get interesting enough when you get married...we're going an extra mile.

Fantastic news CT, and Micah - big congrats to you both. I got engaged last December (in Neuschwanstein, the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Castle - how big a geek am I?!) and am getting married.....three weeks tomorrow! I wish you both all the best for the future.

Congrats to CT and Micah and Phil! Getting married was the best thing I ever did. I'm happy for the lot of you who have announced in this thread. It's still a great institution, despite all the divorce and whatnot that happens these days. Just keep your spouse in mind when you make decisions, and that will go a long way towards having a good marriage.
The advice my dad gave me on my wedding day:
Happy wife, happy life.
