50 Cent has a game in the works?

I was just killing time as an insomniac and started watching some of those trailers for the "B" level games and stumbled onto this gem of a game. I mean that in the most sarcastic sense possible of course.

I'm not sure what hes supposed to be since its an all cgi trailer but I have to assume with his "street cred" hes a gang member of some sort. He pulls some crazy fighting moves out of nowhere to kill a bunch of guys and take a brief case so then I get the whole Alias in the Ghetto vibe from it. All of this in his G-Unit tee shirt and gigantic to the point of distraction chain on of course.

I know Im starting to get older but I'm still a gamer and even though I dont like rap music Id still think I could grasp something as fundamental as the basic premise of a game by its 2 minute trailer...but this game has defeated me. Also, what went wrong in gaming where 50 Cent gets a video game? Was there a big calling for that kind of thing in the rap community?

Anyway, if you think you can figure it out, here's the link to the trailer.

Yea pretty much your basic GTA clone.

Snoop is doing a game also, I believe Dre is going to be in it too. Also a pseudo GTA rip off.

Movies make millions of dollars, movies get turned into games. Music acts make millions of dollars, music acts get turned into video games. Doesn't happen as often, but it's hardly new. And, with the massive success of San Andreas, it's hardly surprising either. I don't see how it's some new harbinger of doom for games. Just business as usual.

I remember that trailer, mostly because he beheads a guy with the butt of a shotgun. I mean, what the shit? The butt of a shotgun?

Wow, Id forgotten about Moonwalker. I think I played that in the arcade back in the day, and one of my friends had it for Sega. You could build up power killing badguys then do a "super move" that made all the bad guys on the screen break into the smooth criminal dance and then explode. That on top of being able to turn into some kind of crazy robot or something made for a really strange game.

I look forward to the shoot out between 50 Cent and Shigeru Miyamoto...all the while the dog from duck hunt laughs his ass off.

It happens at about the 52 second mark. Dude jumps over a couch with a blade, 50 blocks it and decapitates the guy with the butt of his shotgun.

"What's mines is mines. What's yours is mines." Fuck I hate this game already.

Well, we all know how indicative cutscenes are of a game's quality.

Because that's what you do with games instead of playing them.....you watch cutscenes.

If the attitude of the cutscenes is indicative like the attitude of the game, fuck this shit.
I wasn't aware that gameplay had an attitude, nor that 50 Cent was hand coding the game in between takes of shooting his movie and recording for himself and all the other G-Unit artists.

No way this game can match the utter brilliance of
