Burger King SW Toys

I'm sure these have been discussed elsewhere, but I'm curious if any of you were collecting these. I started out getting a few of them for my son and quickly became obsessed with completing the set. As it turns out, 31 is too many fast food toys for me to hunt down. I came up 6 shy of a full set.

The hunt was fun while it lasted and I actually think the toys themselves are great.

Thoughts?

I went to Burger King a few weeks ago. Someone had left the plush Chewbacca on one of the tables. I now carry him in my backpack all the time. Just too cute for words - the girls love it.

My boss has every one of them on the file cabinet in his office. I'm looking at them right now. I so want to steal the plushie ones, especially Chewie and the Jawa. Plus, the Han Solo is so cool when he shakes and busts out of the carbonite. My only question: Where's the friggin' Lando one?

I have a couple, and the other day I just bought one (withou buying a kid's meal). When I opened the bag it was a Shark Tale toy! BASTARDS!!!!

All I would want is the Jawa one.

I was in Burger King this past weekend waiting for my order when a Sweaty girl ran into the resturaunt demanding Star War toys and wanting to know what they had.

The lady behind the counter looked at me then looked at the girl. She showed the girl what was left and the girl walked out disappointed.

I guess after reading this thread its an obsession.

I only have the Jawa one, and thats fine with me. I've named him Hank and he travels in my car with me...

I think I need mental help...

My brother has quite an obsessive personality (he prefers 'completist') and is a big Star Wars fan so this was too good of an opportunity for him to miss. We have alot of them, I haven't looked at the collection yet but we're probably missing about 5-10.

The great thing about my small town is that the employees of Burger King (and most patrons) were too dense to realize that Darth Vader is rare, and let you choose which toy you wanted for your meal. We got about five Darth Vaders in the first two weeks.

My favorite toy is the Jawa, his eyes light up! Also Grievious looks so cool, even though he doesn't do much. On the way to go backpacking my friend and I stopped at a BK and got a Chewbacca. We named him Wookie and decided to take him camping with us, and take pictures of him at landmarks. Unfortunately I threw him away at a rest stop, with our trash. We realized my mistake about 6 miles later, and my friend made me turn around and go back and get him.

Yes, people gave us weird looks when my friend dug headfirst through a garbage can, then yelled, "GOT IT!" and pulled out a mini plush Chewbacca.

I have the plush Jawa with light-up eyes. It's adorable.

My daughter has Princess Leia, Darth Maul, the Jawa, the Storm Trooper, the Podracer and the Jedi Starfighter. Of course she's only three and the only one she cares about is the Jawa because he's soft. For some reason I never really got into them, so if any of you guys who are collecting them need any of the ones I have (minus the Jawa cause she actually likes that one), let me know and I'll see what I can do to get them to you.

Hey JG, I need Darth Maul and the Stormtrooper. If you want to make arrangements, I'll send you Han Solo in carbonite and the Millenium Falcon in exchange. Han's really cool. You wind him up and he shakes until he breaks out of the carbonite block.

The only one I missed was Wicket - out of 31, pretty good

couldn't find him anywhere, must have been in the first week, I got a late start

Vader/Anakin inside is cool, Maul is awesome, Sidious, Fett, Solo in Carbonite are great

I'm surprised at how well and detailed these toys were made - The viewers are top shelf

Off to hunt down Wicket at a Flea market Etc.

The Clonetrooper is part of the set, not the Stormtrooper - right

I didn't know the Jawa's eyes lit up - That's one of the plush ones, isn't that a Fire hazard - careful now!

I was told restaurants recieved only 4 Vader's for every 200 toys

My god, I haven't been to a Burger King since I collected my free burger as part of their Spider-man 2 promotion.

I'll have to go visit one this weekend.
