Hasting's has a "4 used games for a new game" trade and they take almost anything. EB/Gamestop has a buy three used games get one free deal. I spent $20 at EB for four games and ran over to Hasting's and traded them in for a full priced new game.

That "almost" gets me every time. I suppose all the trade-ins have to be for the same system, right?

I don't think so, at least I didn't see that stated anywhere, but I did trade-in all PS2 games so I can't say for sure.

I just talked to a rocket scientist down at Hastings. They do have to be same platform. Makes sense but , still... Boo.
