Just wanted to start a discussion about Chris Cunningham's latest. Anyone else seen it yet? And isn't it about time that CC did a feature length?

The pictures on the box alone made me want to vomit. They are...disturbing. I didn't even want to hold it, let alone watch it. Save me from Rubber Johnny.

Is this available online anywhere?
I remeber reading on Roger Avary's site that Cunningham was signed on to do a film version of the comic book Rank Xerox.
Anyone else know anything about that?
Why is this guy not making films. Can we kill someone in tribute to appease the Gods to make it happen sooner?

Come on Kowalski, dish out the goods. How long is it? How good is it? How does this fit with Cunningham's other stuff? Is it worth buying blind?

Cunningham should have been given a 100 million dollars and be left alone years ago. When you see how well the two other kings of videos, Jonze and Gondry, have adjusted to movies it's a crime that Cunningham has yet to make a film.

I thought the film itself was VERY awesome and freaky visually... however since it's only 8 minutes long I could never in a million years see buying it.

I know that a while back he was trying to get a film version of Neuromancer off the ground, though apparently it wasn't going too smoothly. Also, when Kubrick was planning out his version of AI, Cunningham was doing the effects. I don't know if any of his designs were used for the AI that was released, but I read that the effects he created for Kubrick were used in one of his videos, which one I don't know.

The pictures on the box look like somone has filmed themselves squashing their testicles between their legs, only the distribution of skins is impossible and...not right. Jesus will save me from Rubber Johnny.

That would be ALL IS FULL OF LOVE by Björk. It's truly a magnificent, breathtaking yet very intimate video, in my opinion. And I can't wait to see Chris Cunningham make a feature film. For my money, he's the true heir apparent to the Kubrick Throne.
