Lucky: "... Put on show. Stop. The IN-famous El Guapo."
Dusty: "What's IN-famous?"
Ned: "Oh, Dusty. IN-famous means more than famous. This El Guapo is not just famous, he's IN-famous."


Lucky: "I'll fill you so full of lead you'll be using your dick for a pencil."
El Guapo: "What do you mean?"
Lucky: "I don't know."


El Guapo: "Would you say I have a plethora of pinatas?"
Jefe: "Oh, yes. You have a plethora."
El Guapo: "Jefe, what is a plethora?"
Jefe: [pause] "Why, El Guapo?"

Ned Nederlander, Dusty Bottoms: Damn it!

Bartender: We don't have beer. Just tequila.
Ned Nederlander: What's tequila?
Bartender: Uh, it's like beer.
Dusty Bottoms: Is it fattening?
Bartender: "Fatinence?"
Lucky Day: Forget it. If it's like beer, well have some. Three tequila's.
Bartender: Sure. Sure. Amigos. Enjoy yourselfs. Just try not to get into too much trouble, ok?


Dusty Bottoms: What is it doing here?
Ned Nederlander: I think it's a male plane.
Dusty Bottoms: How can you tell?
Ned Nederlander: Didn't you notice its little balls?

El Guapo: Jefe, you do not understand women. You cannot force open the petals of a flower. When the flower is ready, it opens itself up to you.
Jefe: So when do you think Carmen will "open up her flower" to you?
El Guapo: Tonight, or I will kill her!

Lucky Day: You son of a motherless goat! (I still say this from time to time)

P.S. This film was ahead of its time, just a bit. It was almost like a Simpsons episode. Good to see others dig it.

I've always liked Ned's startled "Oh!" as he falls towards the table. We showed this movie to a Mexican foriegn exchange student, and we were afraid she'd get offended by the idea, but we never heard her laugh so loud in our lives. Especially at the bandits' accents.

One of my absolute favorites but I couldn't remember enough of it to quote. Same goes for that scene when the three of them are in bed talking about what they'll do with their bounty. Priceless.

I always enjoyed the turtle looking into the camera and saying "Goodnight Ned" after the song.

My ex and I used to sing the "My Little Buttercup" song to each other, because we were dorks. I can't speak for her, but I sure as hell still am....
