For Movie Car Lovers.

Thread Starter
At a recent car show in my town, we had a car featured in the movies "Oh Brother where art thou" and "Cinderella Man". I am a big fan of cars from movies and TV, and spent my teenage years building every model kit I could get.

Anyone care to list the actual movie cars they have been lucky enough to see in "person"?

Actual movie cars I've seen in person that I can remember:

Kit - Night Rider, actually got to sit and talk to it for a few minutes.
Batmobile (Original TV Series Car) - maybe this was a replica.
Back To The Future Car - Original I think
Police Car from BladeRunner - original
A-Team Van - probably a replica, but it was a long time ago.

There's more, I will have to look through my photo album some time.

I haven't seen any Kinda sad about that. I've seen some nice cars though. I've flip flopped a lot on which car from the film or television I would want. I keep coming back to the 1957 Desoto Firesweep convertiable with white\babyblue body from "Mystery Date" it was a fantastic car and looked reaaaal nice. Since most people haven't seen the great Ethan Hawk movie that allowed me to fall in love with Teri Polo, it was actually a really good movie and it was sad no one saw how good it was.

Not the same car in the movie as its hard to find copies of that and I don't own it on DVD yet, still have my VHS copy lying around. I imagine it would be impossible to get the one from that movie but any similar car is quite expensive as they're hard to come by... don't get me wrong.. its not over $50-75,000.

Seen all the Batmobiles (including Begins') except for the Schumacher incarnations. BTTF's DeLorean. The Mr. Feeny mobile (K.I.T.T.).

L.A. peeps should check out the Petersen Automotive Museum. Good stuff.

I've seen the ones at Universal Studios, my favorites were the "A-Team" van and "Magnum P.I.'s" Ferrari.

I'm not a huge car enthusiast but a lot of my family is so I've been to a fair amount of car shows with "famous" vehicles. I got a picture taken about 15 years ago with one of the (best) Batmobiles from the first Burton film. I've also seen the yellow '32 Ford Coupe from AMERICAN GRAFFITI.

The one movie car that would be cool to see up close for me would be the yellow Interceptor from MAD MAX.
