Batman (animated series) DVD episodes question

I'm sure I've seen most of the episodes when they were originally aired on tv and eventually as reruns, but I've had the urge to watch them again to see how they hold up (haven't seen an episode in years).

Anyway, I thought I'd dig in using Netflix, but I had a small problem/question... I can't tell where to start and if there are overlaps between DVD sets (i.e., same episodes on multiple sets).

Anyway, Netflix gives me these results when I search for "Batman animated":

volume 1
volume 2
volume 3
The Legend Begins
Tales of the Dark Knight
Out of the Shadows
Secrets of the Caped Crusader

Are those last 4 just collections of episodes that are found in the normal "volume" sets?
Also, I know about Mask of the Phantasm (since that was a standalone movie, I assume it wasn't in any of the volumes sets), but what about "Mystery of the Batwoman," I had never heard of that before today. Is that a separate movie, or is it just some random episodes from the series?

And finally, not including Batman Beyond stuff, are there any movies/sets that include episodes not on volumes 1-3 and Mask of the Phantasm that I haven't mentioned here?

Thanks in advance!

Volume 1 through 3 is the entire Fox run. The WB episodes have yet to be collected. I don't think any of those are on the other DVDs.

Mystery of the Batwoman is a DTV feature length movie. I haven't seen it, but I hear it's not bad.

Hehe, excellent.

Then maybe you can get back to me by tomorrow on this question.

Do you know where those two movies (Phamtasm and Batwoman) fit into the timeline? I figure if I can actually watch them roughly when they were released, I might as well. So even if you don't know exactly when they were released, if you know what season they were released during, that would be cool. If not, no biggie.

Thanks again Helix (unless you can't help, then I hate you)

can't answer the timeline question, but 'Mystery of the Batwoman' is actually pretty good, not earth shattering, nowhere near as good as "Phantasm", but a good, flick. So is "Batman and Mr. Freeeze : Subzero"

Mask of the Phantasm is meant to be taken a bit early in Batman's animated career. Think of it in terms of taking place roundabouts "On Leather Wings", the pilot episode. Batman isn't as trusted a figure as he is in the latter part of the series.

Batwoman, I assume, just takes place anywhere within the latter part of the series. Post Fox-Batman, Pre-Cartoon Network Justice League.

Sub Zero was sort of a capper, in a way, to the original series, and was initially intended to end Mr. Freeze's storyline for good.

Thanks again, I think you've saved me quite a bit of research. I really do appreciate it!
