Because Left Behind is "intensly popular"

Quote:
June 29, 2005 - This will be either inspiring or creepy, depending on your personal views: Left Behind Games is at work on Left Behind: Eternal Forces, a real-time strategy game based on the "intensely popular" series of Biblically-themed End Days novels.

Here's an official description: Left Behind: Eternal Forces is set in the future when the faithful have been gathered up and ascended to Heaven during the Rapture. In the chaos that follows, the Antichrist has taken the reigns of power at the United Nations and is gathering the countries of the world under his banner. But a small resistance, the Tribulation Forces, have formed to oppose Satan's legions.

Along with the gameplay twist of converting "secular/neutral" units to fight for either good or evil, Left Behind Games promises "the most realistic representation of New York City ever seen in a game," and the developer scanned 500 city blocks to render New York in-game.

Left Behind Games expects to release Eternal Forces some time between Christmas 2005 and Easter 2006. We'll be back with more as details are revealed.
Left Behind Games? There's actually a game company?

Then again, MTV just formed their own game company...

Ignorant people deserve stupid games, too. I mean, besides the Final Fantasy series...

Why do you always have to fight the Devil in video games? I want a game where you can BE the Devil.

Here's my suggestion for the title of the game:
