I always liked the head guy in Alien 3 - you know, the bloke who finds out there's an alien in him and jumps into the furnace at the end? He had balls, that fella. A real man's man.

Kinda hot, in a way too. I'm not gay.

Yeah I love me some Vasquez... and it's cool that's she's a little redheaded woman wearing lots and lots of make-up and hair dye to make her look Mexican... what, they couldn't find any tough Mexican chicks in L.A.?

And Hicks can turn into a black man at will.
Check the scene where the alien pokes it's head into the door of the transport right before his "eat this!" shotgun blast.

"Corporal Hicks?" C'mon man, he's just a grunt...no offense.

What about Yaphet Kotto in Alien? Any person who's ever been screwed at shitty job should love him.

Dillon in Alien 3 is pretty harsh too.

Bishop because he's Lance. Plus, his role in ALIENS helped make the end of ALIEN 3 about the only good thing about that film.

He's a cartoon villain.

Ripley is the emotional heartbeat of the series. Everyone else is there to be carved up.

I know, I don't really have a love for Burke. Good bad guy turn from an unlikely source though. While it's true that everyone in these movies is just waiting to get dispatched, I like how even cartoonish characters such as these can leave a mark years after these films came out. You need these folks to be silly because Ripley has to be so serious.

I'd also like mention Ripley's clone. It was a horrible idea but her skills with a basketball are second to none.

My Two Dads alone seals Mr Reisers place as one of the all-time most hideous despicable villains to ever threaten humanity.

Special mention must go to the tiny knickers Ms Ripley displays in the shuttlecraft in Alien, as well as the inflated gimp-suit standing in for the monster hanging out of the airlock later in that scene.

Not true. The characters in Alien are well-drawn and believable, especially by the standards of the "monster on a ship" subgenre. The supporting casts in the sequels are paper-thin comic book characters by comparison.

Alien: everyone was great, except Lambert who was a whiney bitch, she deserved to be ass raped by the aliens tail

Aliens: again many great characters, Ill go with Hicks who was basically my childhood hero

Alien 3: Clemens (killed off immidiately after some much needed character development), Morse, Dillon and Golic, the only stand-out prisoners. Morse gets extra points for being the only survivor and telling the company to go fuck themselves in the end.

Alien: Res: Elgyn, Christie and Johner, the badass half of the Betty.

Elgyn all the way. When I was a kid I wanted to be just like Michael Wincott when I grew up.

And fuck Burke, the misunderstood Aliens character I feel bad for is Gorman. Everyone hated the bastard, but he was trying to do his best!
