Clueless Kiwi Needs Advice On Online Dvd Retailers

Er, sorry if this is in another thread.

I'm a bit of a dvd junkie. Living in NZ means there isn't the range of titles available in other parts of the world, so I buy most of my dvds online, either from Amazon, Sendit, or Yesasia. However I've found a site, Deep Discount Dvd, that has dvds a lot cheaper. It was recommended to me by an American friend, although she has never actually purchased from them.

I would like to know what others think of this site, like delivery times outside the US and so-on.

Cheers!

I checked out a sight called dvdpricesearch.com and they have ratings for the major DVD retailers. Deep Discount gets high marks in the states, but I'm sorry to report that all the user comments from Australia and New Zealand I read are very bad. Many claim to have not gotten their orders.

Have ordered from them many times with no problems, but always shipped within the US. No idea what carriers they use for international, so I can't really tell you what to expect once it crosses the border.

Ouch. Thanks for the tip. I KNEW there'd be a catch. I'm really happy with all the sites I shop at, I get my stuff in a week from the USA or UK, less if its from Yesasia (Hong Kong). But Deep Discount had dvds over US$10 cheaper, so I was intrigued.

I'm gonna check out that dvdpricesearch site, thanks again!
