Looking for a Good Video Game Website

Thread Starter
I was wondering if anyone knew of an independent video game website with reviews, news and columns, which is clear to follow through? I know this sounds naive, but I was reading 1up.com and thought it was ok until they posted an article called "Must have RPGs." After reading through the horrible list of Playstation games, (obviously not to say all Playstation RPGs are bad, but not all are good and definitely not all Must Haves) I realized the article was from a online Playstation magazine. I mean where the fucking integrity by posting the article as "Must Have RPGs" and not mention its from a shill rag?

Any advice is appreciated.

I use Game-revolution.com and have found them to be ok. Sometimes I like the games they pan and sometimes I pan the games they like but that will happen anywhere. The site also has lots of other extras like cheats, patches and demos etc......... Just a suggestion.

Anyone out there remember the old videogame website called DailyRadar? Now that was a good site. Next best thing left is ign, as far as I know, but I don't play too many videogames no more.

I hear ya man, Daily Radar was a great gaming website that had everything (films,, humor, games, comics, etc.). Hearing that name really takes me back when I was always excited about new games coming out, its too bad that I don't feel the same anymore. But yeah IGN.com is good, I also go to Gamespy.com (for good previews, the reviews are pretty lax), and Gamespot.com (which gives the best reviews and a video review to show everything off).

Dailyradar.com was one of my favorite sites. I really miss its humor because they had some hilarious shit there.

IGN.com is pretty much the only option for everything, and its unfortunate because I really hate it now. Gamespot is like a very stripped down IGN with hard ass reviewers, and gamespy is just IGN's bitch.

You also might want to try out gamespot.com

In addition to Gamespot, I've found Evil Avatar and Shacknews to be good news sources. Not many reviews or features though.
