Favorite stupid Luke Moment

Thread Starter
...ohh there are so many. Right now mine has to be when, in the millenium falcon cockpit for the first time, Luke points at the controls and yells "What's that Flashing!!!" Almost as beautifully obnoxious as "toshie Station"

I think Luke was really stupid when he tried to have sex with Chewbacca in a drunken stupor one night.

Wait, you mean the movies.

"YOU KIDDING, AT THE RATE THEY'RE GAINING?!?!" black text

The time he orders that drink in the bar by tugging on the guys shirt sleeve. The look on the bartender's face says it all.

Driving in his landspeeder without a seat belt.

Eggs on your face, Luke!
2 moments:
The first is when Obi-Wan tells him that Leia is his sister - and Luke gets the warm fuzzies instead of horrified revulsion that he had a massive stiffy for her.
The second is when he tells Leia that they're related and he makes this little <gasp> sound after he says it - like that increases the drama. I'm pretty sure they cut out the sound from the film, but you can see him make the face.

Alerting the whole damn Death Star to their presence after Obi Wan sacrifices himself.

"Why are we still moving towards it?!??!" Our standard battle cry in our D&D game whenever some plan wasn't working the way we thought it should.
When he doesn't immediately shoot Yoda with his blaster after witnessing him pillage his supply and food crate.
Leia, refering to Han: "I'm beginning to wonder if he cares about anyone but himself."

Luke: "I care."
"CARRIEEE!!!!"

Also gotta love the way he strides into Jabba's palace like pimp, flips the bird at the gangster, ends up fighting for his life, gets poor Leia to act like a stripper/prostitute, then gets himself and his friends in danger of being thrown to the Sarlacc; but its okay cos he's "taken care of everything". If thats a plan, then I'm Han Solo.

The biggest?

"I think I just blasted it".

Shooting the bridge controls on the Death Star.

Taking off R2's restraining bolt wasn't too swift either.
Huh? Oh right, the uniform.

Dipshit.

Ours was, "Who the fuck opened that last door?!?"

What about not noticing the Tusken Raider until he was standing in front of him?! That guy must have been super-stealthy, or Luke's got the worst hearing possible. Funnily enough, Threepio didn't see him either.

Ditto for the Wampa in ESB, who somehow managed to appear magically in front of Luke despite him being on a clear snow-plain. Time for new contacts, dude.

Please. Those fish sticks had to be at least 7 months old. Luke probably said, "Screw it, let the little green bastard get the liquid shits."

His entire appearance on the Muppet Show.

Except when he does his Fozzy bear impression. That cracks me up...

And when he duets with Argyle the Gargoyle that Gargles Gershwin. Classic...

DING! Fries are done! Ding fries are done!

Would you like an apple pie with that? Would you like an apple pie with that?

I thought he resembled Yoda the most in that picture, but this was a close second.

...and, of course...

...So should I write to Mark, and tell him how I FEEL?..or should I just ask him to come over and feel me for
himself?
Looking at that Teen Beat pic, seems like Mark was a friend of the reefer. Check out his eyes.
Mark was a friend to many drugs.
He's the most famous space hick in the galaxy! What, he can't smoke some death sticks every once in a while?

Looks like he spent a little too much time in the spice mines of Kessel..

"The Princess, She's HERE?!?!"
Ya, but Luke gets his stupidity from his Genes

I mean look at his dad. Doesn't know he has a daughter until ROTJ. And he couldn't find Luke because Obi-Won hid him so well, at his brother's house.

Turning off the targeting computer had the potential to be the bonehead move of the century.

Wasn't that the point?
Abandoning the nice, sheltered cave on Hoth and running out into the blizzard. He could have saved Han a lot of trouble by contacting him on his wrist comlink and snuggling up inside the Wampa carcass for the night.

Also, wasn't the way he played with that toy spaceship in the first film both: a) quite endearing; and b) the sort of thing a 5 year old does? He did the swooping motion and all. Thats some real Jedi behaviour there, Luke.
When he got in a car accident between IV and V. Stupid bastard.
