The Crow: Wicked Prayer

Oh christ this was bad stay far far away! Eddie was ok, David was fuckin horrible.....oh god and tara reid was almost as bad as Dennis Hopper who played a jive talking pimp. Serisouly I don't even think the hardcore Crow fans are going to like this one. The only thing they got half way right was finally putting the Crow up against another supernatural creature from hell. Except the final battle sucked, as a matter of fact ALL the battles sucked. They were badly shot(ya know they had STYLE, filled with shaky cam, to much slow motion, cutting away to quick) and badly choreogrphed. Not to mention they brought standard catholic religion into native american folklore. Awful film save yourself some money and stay away. Or if your in the mood for a laugh rent it. Just for David Boreanez's lines, seriously some of the worst over the top acting i've seen in a while. Seriouslyy Angel what happened? Maybe Bones will be better.........

I still can't believe I watched the 3rd one. I can see getting fooled into watching CITY OF ANGELS but I was really grasping at straws watching that 3rd one. Dimension should really do some kind of HIGHLANDER Vs. THE CROW movie and just end both franchises at the same time.

The first is my favorite movie ever. After COA, I didn't watch any other crow movie.

AWESOME! I never realized how both franchises are similar, what with the excellent first movie, and sequels that just get worse and worse.

The Crow is also my favourite movie ever, and even though i can admit to being an apologist for City Of Angels and Salvation, this is the most pathetic low the franchise could have had.

Here's a hilarious review of the film which describes it perfectly:

I never saw any more Crow flicks either. City of Angels was so bad, it's still the main thing I hold against David Goyer whenever the merits of his screenwriting come up. I'd go as far as to say it's one of the worst sequels ever. Ug, what a mess.

You know, after that review, I kinda want to see it. But then, I love bad films. I watched House of the Dead expecting one of the worst movies I've ever seen. I think this will be no different.
