Looks pretty good, in that it had to fit with the already established crappy theme.

The artwork for these cases has been consistent, but, unfortunately, consistently awful.

The disc artwork, however, has been exellent, so I hope they keep that up.

Photoshop work from preschoolers is so cheap these days. It like the 4 year-olds aren't even paying attention to the shadows.

didn't anakin have a scar across his eye throughout the last movie? just wondering....
I wish they had utilized the Drew Struzan images. Those are SOOOO much better. In so many ways. And yes, the scar is missing. Tools.

You forgot to mention the kickin' photos of Mon Mothma on that page as well.

Er...kickin' like "Damn, she's hot" or kickin' like "I'm glad they put back those missing scenes"?

How completely underwhelming. Deleted scenes that should have been in the film but aren't. So whats the point? And the cover art for the prequel dvds has been just awful, no sense of excitement or enthusiasm in the design. Its all very cynical ("Hey, the fans will buy it anyway, so why bother making it good?").

How did it come to this? Farewell Star Wars, we hardly knew ye...

No real shock about the cover art. Of course it was gonna follow the same style as the previous SW DVDs.

That said, the characters represented are the most important to me. I think this cover nails that facet.

And I like the overall color scheme.

The covers for the Prequels are nothing special, true, but you've got to admit they look better than the OT DVD covers.
Whew, those stink.

Does anyone know if this one will get the IMAX treatment like Ep II did before it hits DVD?

The thing that pisses me off is, they are wasting disc space on the video game demo.

The DVD should be about the movie, not pimping your other shit.

Yeah, if you want to be bored out of your mind.

I think we can expect to see the Struzens utilized for the eventual Super Force powered editions coming out on Blu-Ray or whatever format they're coming up with now.

Should we just make this the official ROTS DVD thread?

The DVD menus were leaked:

I saw them yesterday, they're ok I guess. There will be 50 chapter titles by the way.

The ROTS DVD at Wal-Mart will include a bonus disc.

Thanks to TheAlternateReality at The JCF for the image.

But to get it would involve going into a Wal-Mart. And everyone knows that's just wrong.

Well, you could always buy the DVD, wait a few weeks, and take it back unopened for a refund. Keep the bonus disc. Most of the customer service people wouldn't have a clue by that time, or even care for that matter.

Help them, help you.

Maybe, but the fact is the just about everybody except a small group of activists does it anyway.
But I have seldom encounted a "bonus" DVD in a package like this that was worth a shit anyway.

I think that image is a lie. I've never see a Wally World bonus package that included the widescreen version of the film.

Sorry GD, I have seen a Wally World bonus pak that included a WS version of the film.

In fact, I've noticed WS versions are definitely outnumbering the FS versions at the Wally World close to me. Hell must be freezing over.
