Console on my DVI-d Monitor

Is there a device that will allow me to hook up one of my video game consoles to my computer monitor?

A simple adapter is what I'm looking for.
My video card has all the composit in's, with s-video and such, but I have the Windows Media Center and it runs everything through the DVR so there is a wicked lag.

Spread the knowledge.

Hmm... I've never heard of any adapters for what you're trying to do. If you had a VGA monitor, it'd be easy. The only thing I can think of is perhaps buying an HDTV tuner card with component inputs. Sorry for the lack of help, but I think that's about your only option.

The monitor does have a VGA input also.

I use one of these to connect to my LCD through its VGA connector. Since you have DVI-D, you would need to follow that with something like this.

You'd be better off just buying a Dell 2405FPW the next time it's on sale.

If you've got VGA inputs on the monitor, then you can use something like this. You could probably find one at your local game store too. Just ask around.
